1. Agreement

These terms govern use of the Keeper iOS application. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Keeper is

Keeper is an offline informational tool that helps anglers consult recreational fishing regulations and record catches locally.

3. What Keeper is not

• Keeper is not legal advice or a substitute for official regulations.
• Keeper is not affiliated with or endorsed by FWC, NOAA, Apple, or another government agency.
• Keeper is not a navigation tool. Its geographic boundaries are approximate and do not establish legal boundaries.

4. Accuracy and responsibility

Regulations may change through ordinary or emergency action. Official sources may be ambiguous, and some species or waters may not be covered. You are responsible for complying with applicable law and verifying current official rules before harvesting fish.

5. Fail-Closed results

Unverified, missing, ambiguous, boundary-adjacent, or location-dependent information may prevent Keeper from showing an approval. Do not treat an unavailable result as permission to harvest.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Keeper to violate law, misrepresent its output as government guidance, or commercially redistribute its compiled regulation database.

7. Local data

Your catch-log data belongs to you and remains on your device. Keeper does not provide a cloud backup or recovery service.

8. Apple provisions

These terms are between you and the Keeper developer, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms.
